The 2012 Killeshandra Angling Festival will be held over 4 days from May 7th to May 10th following another successful event last year which was again well received by all participants.

The entry fee will be €120.00 with a total payout in all prize money. this year the Festival will be limited to 30 anglers.

The first 3 days will be on a rotation basis and the last day will be an open match. The festival will be fished on the Killykeen match stretch ( 2 Sections ) and Lower Derries ( 1 Section ). The event is being part sponsored by Gerald Green and The Spinners with futher sponsorship from local businesses expected nearer the time. The Shamrock can provide accommodation for up to 16 anglers. Special rates will apply for anyone fishing the festival.

In addition there may also be an open match on Sunday 6th May details to be published nearer the day.

The 2012 All Ireland Competition is being held on lakes around the Killeshandra area over the weekend of 21st & 22nd July. On Saturday 21st July there will be the Junior All Ireland Competition and on Sunday 22nd July the Senior All Ireland Competition will be held.
