The Killeshandra Coarse Angling Festival 2010, sponsored by The Shamrock Inn, Killeshandra, and Ultima.
A new angling festival for 2010 has been organised for Killeshandra and will be held from May 3rd to May 6th 2010.
The entry fee will be €120.00 with a total payout in prize money of €6400.00 subject to 45 anglers taking part in the festival.
The first 3 days will be on a rotation basis and the last day will be an open match. The festival will be fished on lakes in the immediate Killeshandra area. Water levels permitted it is hoped to fish on the Killykeen match stretch as the festival has exclusive access to this venue. The other two venues that are being considered are Eonish and Rockfield. The event is being sponsored by The Shamrock Inn who can provide accommodation for up to 16 anglers. Special rates will apply for anyone fishing the festival. Further details will be available when we have them.
In addition there will also be an open match on Sunday 2nd May for anyone interested they must meet at the Shamrock at 9.00 am for the draw. The entry fee will be €20.00.
